  1. Asking around in some of my Facebook groups and pages…BY FAR, the number one thing they all said was a must have item is A NINJA MEGA KITCHEN SYSTEM! It does it alllllllllll. NUMBER ONE MUST HAVE!

2. Air Fryer. This one comes with a recipe book, which I would need since I don’t have one! This is going on my list though seeing as EVERYONE said they were dying for one and I’m just over here clueless. Apparently I’m missing out!

3. An all-in-one sushi making kit. We spend a lot of money on sushi at our house because we really love it!! This kit gives you everything you need to EASILY make it at home! if you just really want to up your present, go ahead and buy the sushi rice and the seaweed for them!

4. Veggie Bullet. I can’t say enough about these! I use mine all the time and it has saved me SO much time and stress when it comes to chopping and spiralizing veggies! It’s a GOTTA have for the kitchen. This product also comes with a hardcover recipe book!

5. A good set of knives. I spend so much time each week CHOPPING. My veggie bullet helps a ton but there are some things that just can’t go in there and you need to slice them yourself! A good set of knives is so important! Here’s a good link for a chef’s knife and a set of knives…

6. Instant Pot. I’m being honest, if you don’t have one of these, I feel bad for you. You’re just missing out in life. I use mine all the time and there are ENTIRE Facebook groups dedicated to recipes for these things. They are BY FAR a necessary item for your kitchen! (also, this link is a really good deal!)

7. Vitamix Blender. Imma be straight…we don’t have one of these…yet. But it’s on my list!! This one is for the fancy gift givers lol. In our family we do big, medium and small presents for each other. This would make a great “big” gift for the plant-based person in your life. We use our blender MULTIPLE times a day sometimes and it does leave little chunks (which is not good for the baby ugh) so I end up blending my soup, smoothie or whatever like 5-6 times to get all of the chunks out. This would solve that problem! If you are buying for someone who uses their blender multiple times a day. GET THEM THIS! (also, a REALLY good deal on these in the link)

8. Hand Immersion Blender. This is RIDICULOUSLY useful I can’t even get started. From the wise words in Toy Story “If you don’t have one, get one!” lol!

9. Coconut bowls. We make smoothie bowls most days for breakfast and these are the COOLEST bowls for smoothie bowls!

10. Disposable salad bowls with lid. We eat salads ALLLLL the time. When my husband takes them to work, sometimes they come home, sometimes they don’t. These are perfect (and cheap) for taking a salad with you on the go!

Here are some of my other favorite products that I love. All of these you can get on Amazon! When I start to run out, I just jump on and buy more. E-Z. P-Z. Any of these would make great stocking stuffers!

Clear Make-up Organizer

This article may contain affiliate links, all opinions are my own. See my fullΒ disclosure policy here.

Heyyyyyyyy! I got some awesome Christmas presents that I can’t wait to show you guys. I posted a clear acrylic make-up organizer earlier that everybody (including me) is dying over. I wanted to give you a review and give you the link!

First of all, it’s awesome. Duh. Second, I love that it’s clear. Some people want to hide all of their stuff, but I love that I can see everything! I love that it can hold all of my brushes and a lot of my make-up in it. If I have any complaint it’s that I should have asked for 2 lol. This thing is already full and I have more stuff to store, so I”ll def be grabbing another one! It comes in 2 parts. The top part where the brushes are detaches, so you can store it somewhere else if you want. I’m thinking I may buy another one and remove the top of the second one for storage in a cabinet and stack my drawers on each other so it’s extra tall! It comes in different sizes. The one I have is the medium one. I would have gotten the bigger ones but they didn’t come in clear and that was the whole point for me! Also, they cost more soooooo yeah.

I also love that it’s portable. If I need to ever store it for some reason, it’s super light and not permanent.Β It’s acrylic so it’s pretty sturdy, but not heavy.

My FAVORITE thing of all is the price! It’s only $15.99! Such a good deal for the look and the functionality.

Help me to be more simple.

Lord, help me to be simple. I’m starting to think I’m more difficult than I want to be. If you know me and you are rolling in the floor laughing because you’ve known this about me for 31 years…keep it to yourself, I’m a work in progress πŸ™‚ But seriously, we should all try to be more simple. I didn’t say don’t treat yourself sometimes or move to a tiny house, just more…simple.Β I always want the food to be perfect, the house to be perfect-ish, I want the Christmas presents to be perfect, the pictures to be perfect…this list goes on! But it’s a lot of work to strive for all of this. You could just literally exhaust yourself and your resources trying to get there. It’s time for a reality check Brittany.

I bought this $3 tree from Target in the dollar section (which is starting to turn into the $3 and $5 section but whatever). I actually bought it for Jeff to take to work and put on his desk, I know, I’m so cute right?! But he left it at home and I found the perfect place for it…yes, I stole his present. Well, the girls spotted it and they started fighting over this little $3 tree. The REAL moral of this story is that next time I see them at Target, I should buy 5 of them. ANYWAYS. I stood back and cracked up as I thought about all of the Christmas decorations around our house. All of the stuff we’ve collected over the years, the HOURSSSSSS and dayzzzzzz it takes us to put it all up. The amount of beads, glitter and fake snow I vacuum up for weeks and we all fight over this little tree that might break before the year is out. I mean, we all have Christmas trees in our room! But we all love this little tree. It’s the same concept as when you buy a baby a toy and they just want to play with the box lol.

My brain went on 789 rabbit trails (because I’m a girl) and I ended up at: We make life too hard sometimes, it’s simple. The things that truly make us happy are simple. Family dinners. Respect and love from your spouse. A parent that will sit and cuddle and play with you. A sister (or 47) to play Barbies with. In this season of “stuff” (and I’m not anti-stuff…I LIKE the stuff lol) Lord, help me to focus on what really matters and help me to be simple. I pray that I would make more time to chill with the mister and my little mamis and ENJOY them and this beautiful life we’ve built for ourselves.

Then I heard that little undeniable whisper from above…. God is simple. I pray that I would make God more simple in my life. I listen, He speaks, I follow. Done. It’s not hard. He’s not trying to play games with our emotions and string us along this path while dangling things over our head. Our purpose is not some huge mystery. It’s just a simple day-by-day walk of faith. All we have to do is listen and follow. I feel guilty somedays if I don’t have 2 hours to pray and read my Bible…and basically that NEVER happens, I can barely fit in a shower most days. But He is simple. He created simple. He is not tricky, He is simple.Β We listen, He speaks, we follow.

I challenge you (along with myself!) to be more simple. Love hard, soak in memories and follow His lead. :*
