I’ve been told a time or 2 that I make the perfect smoothie so I wanted to share the recipe with you guys! I make for 2 adults and 2 kids. I’m trying to get Gia to drink out of a straw so she can have one too!
1 handful of spinach
4-6 frozen strawberries
small handful of frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 scoop of Super Greens (berry flavor) powder
1/2 cup of orange juice
fill up the rest of the way with coconut milk
*If you use fresh strawberries and blueberries, you will want to add a few pieces of ice.
We made these allllllll the time on Whole 30 for meals and snacks and we loved them so much we are still making them. Plus, I have piece of mind knowing that if we have to drive through or order pizza on a day that we are super busy, that I did fuel their bodies with some good stuff! The Super Greens powder tastes really good and I like that it includes probiotics! Also, don’t forget the cinnamon! Cinnamon is an anti-viral so it’s an extra immune booster! It also makes all the difference in the taste. A few days we ran out and it didn’t taste as good!
